A glorious little café, right beside Allington Lock. It has comfortable chairs and tables including deckchairs and blankets when the weather allows.
There is NO inside seating but the outside is so lovely you wouldn't want to sit inside - everything is alfresco.
Drinks are available in stylish branded paper cups or you can bring your own crockery!
Hot food including Cornish pasties, Sausage Rolls & Pies with lots of vegan and gluten free options - Seasonal changes include Ice Creams and milkshakes April - October.
To find it walk north along the river bank from Kent Life, Malta Inn or the Premier Inn and cross over the weir towards the little island in the middle of the River Medway. This is where the Toll House is located on its own little island.
There is no access to Car Parking.

This is'nt on a road it is on the river. However, it is close to the M20. From the M20 come off the motorway and take the junction to Aylesford. Pass the Village Hotel on your left and take Lock Lane (which is a small junction) on left hand side. There is limited parking in Lock Lane and please try not to block any entrances. Coaches regularly use this lane to get to Kent Life Heritage Farm Park, so please park with care.
The Kentish Lady River cruises at weekends connects Allington Lock with Maidstone Town Centre. The cycle path along the river connects Maidstone Town Centre to Aylesford and you can walk or ride a bike. Buses stop close to the Village Hotel.
