Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Maidstone Borough Council, courtesy of Leeds Castle, are offering one free Family ULTIMATE EXPLORER pass to Leeds Castle. The competition is open from 00.01am on Friday 6th September until Sunday 15th September at 11.59pm. Entries received outside of this time won't be entered into the prize draw.

2. The prize draw is open to all residents of mainland England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 or over (excluding Maidstone Borough Council employees, and members of the Council). Only one competition entry per participant is allowed, Maidstone Borough Council reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.

3. Entry to the competition is free. No purchase is necessary.

4. Prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred or substituted for another prize. The ULTIMATE EXPLORER pass will be supplied in the winner's name and cannot be resold.

5. All prizes are subject to availability.

6. Maidstone Borough Council does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

7. The winner of the prize draw will be selected from all eligible entries received. The draw will take place on Monday 16th September at 12noon and will be conducted by a member of the communications team. The winner will be notified on the Draw Date directly by the Council using the details supplied.

8. The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if the winner cannot be contacted, or if the prize remains unclaimed, another winner shall be drawn from the pool of entrants.

9. By entering the prize draw, the winner agrees to Maidstone Borough Council passing their contact details to Leeds Castle to arrange the Pass.

10. Maidstone Borough Council reserves the right to alter or cancel a competition or competition prize at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.

11. The decision of Maidstone Borough Council on all matters relating to and arising out of this prize draw shall be final.

12. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other social network. You are providing your information to Maidstone Borough Council and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy.

Any information that you provide is not stored on our database and we will not add you to our mailing list unless you request it.

We guarantee that any information you provide to us will not be passed on to third parties without your permission and that we will only use your data for the purpose(s) intended.
