Leading off the High Street is Week Street, the main pedestrianised shopping street. From here you can easily wander into Fremlin Walk, a stylish open air shopping centre with a House of Fraser store, where you will find many well-known high street brands. The Mall is a spacious indoor shopping centre that can be accessed off King Street with a great variety of quality stores.
On the other side of the River Medway, you can find St. Peter's Wharf: the location of large homeware, clothes and crafts stores. You will also find the Broadway Shopping Centre, and twice a week Maidstone Market takes place at Lockmeadow. On the outskirts of town near Junction 7 there is Newnham Court Shopping Village and Eclipse Park.

Maidstone also boasts one of the largest selections of independent retailers in the country. There is an eclectic mix of businesses from jewellers to kitchenware, gifts to ladies wear that can be found in the many ancient streets.
Wander through the Royal Star Arcade, or down the historic Bank Street, Gabriel's Hill, or Market Buildings. Opening Hours & Parking
Most shops are open Monday - Saturday from 09.00 until 17.30 and Sunday 11.00 until 16.30.
Maidstone has many car parks in the town centre for convenient parking, or you may prefer to use the excellent park and ride service.
