Skydiving/Parachuting
At Skydive Headcorn you can take part in a Tandem Skydive, do a Charity Jump, jump with a static line or freefall. This is a very weather dependent sport and there is absolutely no turn up and go facility, this has to be booked well in advance. If the weather is not working out for your jump, this website will be useful in finding out what you can do, see and enjoy whilst you wait for the weather window.
Flying, Skydiving and Wing Walking
There are not many places in England where you can Skydive or Wing Walk but Headcorn Aerodrome is one of them. Whilst this is a fantastic opportunity to experience something out of the ordinary it also very weather dependent. Wind and rain will cancel flights at short notice and there are some quite long waiting lists to have a go at this, so booking in advance is definitely the only thing to do.
Motor Racing
The famous Brands Hatch Motor Racing circuit is within easy reach from Maidstone, about 20 minutes by car. As well as watching international race day events, there are driving experience days. These can be on the track, off-roading, in super cars or on your bike or in your car.
Karting
Buckmore Park is close to Maidstone and offers a fantastic visitor experience. This is a top rated track used by many professional racing drivers as they honed their skills as youngsters. A very professional set up, everyone is briefed, given a racing suit, crash helmet and all the necessary safety gear and knowledge.
