Add an Event to Visit Maidstone

Would you like to see your event on VisitMaidstone? You can add your event details using the form below. Our What’s On pages rank among the highest page views on the website. You need to make sure your event has a full and inspirational description as well as a quality image (landscape image ideally 1200 x 713 pixels no more than 1MB) to ensure your event is promoted to its full potential. Do not upload a poster or portrait shaped image as it will be rejected.

Please read all the information and guidance below. Make sure you complete all of the fields below. The information you send through will be checked and authorised before it is added to the website. We aim to add your events as quickly as possible however at busy times they can take up to 3 working days to show on VisitMaidstone.com.  If you require your event to be added urgently, please fill in and submit the form below, and then email us indicating the event and the date you require the event to be listed.

When uploading an image please make sure it is a landscape image (the ideal size is 1200 x 713 pixels)  no more than 1 MB.  If you have difficulty with the image, please email it to us with the event name and date and we will re-size it for you. If the image you submit is larger than this you will receive an ERROR MESSAGE after selecting 'SUBMIT' and your event will NOT be sent through to us.Basic listings are free of charge and include the name of the event, date and address of the event, telephone number, website, email and one image.

If you do not have an image, we will use a suitable placeholder image of our choice.

We try to accommodate as many events as possible, but we reserve the right to refuse any event, especially if your event is not 'visitor friendly' or location relevant.

Criteria for submission:

• must be an events accessible to residents and visitors alike
• must be with the Borough of Maidstone or close proximity
• can be ticketed, non-ticketed, free or chargeable events
• events can be (but not limited to) festivals, shows, exhibitions, concerts, displays, fairs, carnivals, lectures, charity events, guided walks... and more
• can be trade or business events if open to the public.
• can be one off workshops, special activities or experiences 
• must not be a regular meeting/gathering or educational course or membership event
• must not be a commercial promotional activity selling goods and services
• must not be political meetings, rallies or demonstrations

We reserve the right to refuse any submitted 'event'.
