Loddington Farm has been run by the Smith Family since 1882. Growing apples, pears, asparagus, apricots and cherries, farmer and manager James Smith believes in growing produce in harmony with nature, and over the past two years has implemented various regenerative farming practices to increase the nutritional value of our food. James’ focus on biodiversity and sustainability has recently been rewarded with two Footprint Sustainability Awards and the ‘Farmer of the Year’ Taste of Kent award.
Also at the farm:
Owlet Fruit Juice
An award-winning range of sugar and additive-free juices made with fruit that has been grown in harmony with nature, then pressed, bottled and labelled on-site before being delivered in our electric van to farm shops, delis, cafes, restaurants and bars across London and the south-east.
Loddington Farm Shop
Seasonal, local fruit and veg (including our own homegrown produce), locally baked sourdough, deli products, cakes & biscuits, fresh eggs and pantry staples. Later this year, our new building will be completed where we can expand our offering, increasing produce grown on the farm to over 50%.
Musket Brewery
A family-owned microbrewery with a lovely beer garden that specialises in Kentish ales and hosts food trucks most weekends. They also have music performances regularly at the brewery, which you can find on our What's On page.
Kampa Coffee
A small-batch coffee roaster specialising in organic, fairtrade, single-estate and co-operative coffees roasted to order.
One Twenty Gym
Owned and run by Helena Smith (James’ wife), One Twenty is an independent gym offering daily HIIT, Tabata, circuit (and more!) classes.
Blooming Green
An organic, no-till florist established in 2007 that sell beautiful bouquets, wreaths and wedding flowers, as well as offering flower-arranging classes and PYO. Find out more here.
Blue Reef Skate Shop & Café
Hand-crafter solid hardwood longboards, surf and skateboards as well as great coffee and host of the yearly Bluereef Festival here on the farm.
