Every parent and grandparent wants to know whats on during the school holidays and half terms. There might be something new and exciting for your childen learn and understand or they might want to develop a skill and sometimes you just need a bit of physical activity to run off some energy.

Kent Life have The Great Outdoors: May Half-Term where you can discover much more about the the surrounding countryside and find out about bugs and the way things grow and the importance of them. There are art classes at This Art of Mine and for the music lovers and aspiring musical artists there is Raver Tots Outdoor Festival and Total Pop Party. Maidstone Museum will have a variety of things to do or you can explore the treasures from the past.
Also don't forget a trip to the Buttercups Goat Sanctuary. The Goats are always pleased to see people and they are very socialable creatures. There are also all the parks and play areas in and around Maidstone to enjoy. Cobtree Manor Park which remains ever popular is open and the cafe is serving from the hatch, although inside is being painted and decorated.
