After a hugely successful first year, Maidstone's literature festival is back and promises something for everyone, with an array of events and appearances taking place in the heart of the town.

Once again the line-up of authors is nothing short of incredible - watch this space for news of guest appearances over the coming weeks!

The event is championing best-selling as well as local authors, with a showcase event at Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre with readings and workshops across Maidstone primary schools, Kent Library and History Centre, Waterstones, The Archbishop’s Palace and Maidstone Museum.

The innovative Litfest is being delivered by Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) and funded by the UK Government.
