Some of our pubs offer great food and great walks close by and if you feel that you would like to take some of the goodness home with you then a farm shop is just the place.
When it comes to drinks, Kent has an ancient and famous brewing industry and a few well known brews can be found such as Shepherd Neame’s Spitfire, but for the adventurous there are lots of great micro-breweries to be found and many of the pubs stock a variety of these as well.
A rather more modern industry in Kent has been the introduction of grapes and the production of wine over the last 50 years. We are now producing world class wine and at least one of the walks takes you amongst the vines. There are some excellent walks around vineyards locally as well. There is a lot to discover.
