Hire Cruisers Ltd offer self-drive hire boat rental on the River Medway. Boats can take up to 6 passengers and are beautifully appointed with nautical themes. Instructions on safe handling of the boat and the rules of the river are explained and buoyancy aids, fuel and on-site parking are available for 1 vehicle. They can be hired as above from summer 2022.

This offers a completely different way to experience the River Medway, its history, it bankside buildings and the wildlife. The boats are easy to drive and provide a comfortable and relaxing day out for a family. There are lovely points to stop along the way where you can find a variety of cafes and picnic sites. 

Hire Cruisers- Self-Drive Boat Hire is now available to book. (Closed during the winter months November, December, January and February.  Weather and river dependent for March opening)

• Maximum 6 people per boat (in line with the Government's social distancing guidelines). 
• Minimum age of main hirer must be 21 or over.
• Thorough cleaning of boats will be made inbetween bookings. 
• Area of travel is currently restricted between Allington and East Farleigh Locks.

• 2 hours £70 - 10:00-12:00 or 13:00-15:00 or 16:00-18:00
• 2 hours £70 - 10:30-12:30 or 13:30-15:30 or 16:30-18:30
• 4 hours £140 - 10:00-14:00 or 10:30-14:30
