Marden Resident VE Day Celebrations
The local firefighters will be helping us light the beacon at 9.30pm along with others nationally.
Residents have been invited to join us by bringing their own picnic/drinks on the field. We will be providing a BBQ and have asked the WI to run a refreshment stall with teas/coffees along with baking and selling the national VE Day celebration Orange and Ginger cake.
A local choir will sing the I Vow To Thee My Country song.
