Experience the enchanting Sculpture Trail Safari at Leeds Castle from 24th August to 6th October 2024. This event is part of our 50th anniversary celebration as a Foundation, offering families a unique adventure through our magnificent grounds and gardens.

Embark on an exciting hunt for remarkable sculptures crafted by talented local artists. As you explore the breath-taking landscape of Leeds Castle, you'll discover a variety of awe-inspiring artworks seamlessly integrated into our picturesque setting.

The Sculpture Safari provides an engaging way for children to interact with art while enjoying the natural beauty of our historic estate. Each sculpture serves as a captivating checkpoint on your family's artistic journey, encouraging curiosity and sparking imagination.

This event is included with your admission ticket, which grants you access to Leeds Castle for an entire year. Make the most of your visit by exploring our other attractions and returning throughout the seasons to experience the changing landscape and diverse events we offer.

Road Directions

7 miles east of Maidstone, Junction 8 of the M20 motorway just 1 hour from London, 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and Channel Ports. Clearly sign posted from all routes – following the brown and white tourist signs.

Public Transport Directions

Bus
The 10X Bus Route operated by Stagecoach bus is now servicing the Leeds Castle bus stop within the grounds.

The service runs via the Ashford to Maidstone route and has recently been extended so that the bus terminates at Maidstone East Train Station and the timetable has been amended to meet the train service from Victoria.

Travelling by Train
Southeastern(Opens in a new window) runs frequent services to Bearsted and Hollingbourne stations. There are direct trains to both stations from: Ashford International (25-30 mins) and London Victoria (70-75 mins). It's then a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-40 minute walk to Leeds Castle.
