A worthy winner of the Best Self-Guided Tour for 2021. For a brilliant day out of sustainable travel, adventure and excitement try an electric bike tour. Zipping along between vineyards or maybe stopping at an iconic castle or a world-famous garden on the way, what could be more fun? Our routes take you along the quiet lanes of the Weald of Kent, passing past Wealden hall houses, farmsteads and ancient woodland. You can stop at a village pub for refreshments or take a picnic in your bike panniers.
You ride an electric bike the same way as you would ride a standard bike except you have an optional motor that kicks in when you pedal. This makes climbing hills a lot easier! They will give you a full demo and safety brief before you set off as well as helmets and bike locks. You can follow one of their tried and tested routes, for a few miles for half a day or up to 30 miles, suitable for a full day's hire.
All their bikes are for self-hire and we can give you an easy-to-follow map or you can use our new navigation app (to be downloaded in advance) which allows us to design a route specifically for you. We can provide a guide if you prefer at an extra cost. Mountain bikes, children’s tag-a-long bikes and children's trailers are also available. Bikes can also be dropped off where you are staying at a small extra cost.
