Following the huge success of the Maidstone Christmas Donation Hub last year, Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) is planning to open the doors again this winter.
Last year the Council team saw some amazing people give generously with over £18,000 worth of donations made to various charitable organisations who shared the gifts to people in their communities who needed them most.
With the continued rise in the cost of living, the Council recognises the need to help those people who are finding it difficult to pay their utility bills, cover the cost of their normal food shopping and don't have any money left over to spend of festive extras.
To help, MBC is asking anyone who can give to the Donation Hub and help make someone's Christmas that bit easier. Repeating the project and working once again in partnership with The Mall Maidstone, the Council will open the Christmas Donation Hub from Thursday 14 November – Thursday 12 December between 9.30am – 3.00pm (six days per week).
