The Race for Life is Cancer Research UK's biggest series of fundraising events.
Taking place across the UK, the events include 5k and 10k routes for participants to walk, jog or run, as well as our Pretty Muddy obstacle events.
Started more than 25 years ago as a women-only event, Race for Life has grown into a series of hundreds of events across the country, raising nearly £500 million towards beating cancer over the last quarter of a century.

For anyone intending on parking at Mote Park, the designated Race for Life car park opens at 09:15 and will close at 15:00, so please ensure that your vehicle is moved by this time. Any cars left in this car park after this time will be locked in until the following day.
When leaving by car, please exit by turning left onto Willow Way (right turns will cause congestion) then take a right onto Park Way which will take you on to the A229. This will really help car congestion on the day of the event and get you home quickly.
